ProxyPortals

Editorial Disclaimer

ProxyPortals publishes educational articles about technology. This page explains what our content is — and what it is not.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

01

Educational purpose

proxyportals.com is an independent blog. Articles explain concepts in cybersecurity, computer networking, internet protocols, cloud infrastructure, and digital privacy. They are written for learning and general awareness.

Nothing on this Site is professional security consulting, legal advice, penetration-testing authorization, or a guarantee that following a guide will make a system “secure.” Always test changes on systems you own or are authorized to manage.

Free tools under /tools (IP lookup, WebRTC checks, DNS queries, subnet math, user-agent decoding, password generation) are provided as-is for education. Geo-IP and DNS answers come from public databases and resolvers and can be incomplete or wrong. Do not use lookup results to harass or identify private individuals.

02

Responsible use

Authorized systems only

Do not use techniques described here against networks, accounts, or devices without permission. Unauthorized access is illegal.

No offensive tooling

We do not publish exploit code, malware, or attack playbooks. High-level discussion of how defenses work is not an invitation to break into other people’s systems.

Your environment is unique

Commands, settings, and vendor names in an article may not match your OS, cloud, or hardware. You are responsible for verifying steps before you apply them.

03

Independence and trademarks

ProxyPortals is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of any software vendor, cloud provider, or standards body unless we say so in a specific article. Product and standard names belong to their owners and appear only for identification and education.

04

Content is provided “as is”

Articles may become outdated as protocols, products, and threats change. We make no warranty that:

  • Any article is complete, error-free, or current on the day you read it.
  • Following a guide will produce a particular security or performance result.
  • The Site will always be available without interruption.
05

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProxyPortals and its operators are not liable for damages arising from:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, this Site.
  • Reliance on any article, diagram, or recommendation.
  • Third-party sites, ads, or tools linked from our pages.
